Catching up - (Well, Trying To)

For the next two weeks, I'm off work while Dr. Weaver is at the 2009 American Dental Association Conference in Hawaii. Ear Piercing

We've been talking to Maleah about getting her ears pierced for a few months now so today was the big day at Claire's in the Dubois Mall. I didn't talk to much about what it was going to feel like, I just said it was going to pinch a little. She was fine with that. She sat still and allowed them to pierce her ears. Afterward, she looked at me with a scowl and said "That hurt". I gave her a big hug, and we were friends again. She has done really well with the care of her ears, she has left them alone and turns them on a regular basis. She was a perfect age for this.

I took some outside photos when we got home, natural lighting is so much better.

Campfire

This summer was chilly in the evenings so we didn't get to sit out along our fire ring as much as we would have liked. Tonight I snapped a few pictures of the kids and was cracking up with Maleah's expressions.
