Rock Skipping

After a hike with the family, we played in the warm water at Cook forest. Connor and his Dad skipped rocks.

4th of July

We decided to have a low key type of day in Clear Creek State Park for our 4th of July celebration. We cooked hamburgers over the grill and then the kids played in the little creek beside our picnic area. What a nice relaxing day. The kids had their playtime and Mom and Dad had some adult conversation without interuption. As usual, I got some fun pictures of the kids which all can be reviewed on my dropshots account.






After a day of playing in the cold water at Clear Creek, we came home and started a fire in our fire pit.

Pretty flowers

Connor and I went over to Farmer Smith's and picked out some colorful flowers. The yellow Marigold in the center is the flower he planted and cared for at school and gave to me on Mother's Day. Connor picked out the other flowers and told me where he wanted them planted. I think all the different colors makes the arrangement pretty.
