Cute pictures of the kids

They actually make you believe for a moment that they like each other. :) I couldn't pick just one, so I decided to post them all.

Helmets for the kids

Helmets were on the top of our list for purchase this week. Connor's become a dare devil with his bike and it's just a good idea to have the kids wear them even though we went through our childhood without them. I also bought knee and elbow pads which have come in handy already.

Learning to Ride a Bike

After I got home from Philly, Connor showed me what he learned this weekend. He's been practicing for the last week, but this weekend he can finally say that he can balance his bike and ride all over the driveway without help. He is so proud.

This first picture was taken on 3/14 with a little push by his Dad

This was taken today, and he was so excited to show me his new skill.

He wanted me to get a picture of him with his bike. He's been having a GREAT time riding.

Maleah, Megan and Molly

After our nice weekend in Philly, my family (who went to York while I went to Philly) came and picked me up at Christie's house. Our girls had a little time to play before heading home. It's funny to see how much taller Maleah is than Molly and there is only a 3 week age difference. I wish these 3 lived closer and had more opportunities to play together.

Philly 3/09

This is a day that I really never thought would happen and I'm so happy that it did! I met up with Kristin, who I've been chatting with on a pregnancy forum for almost 7 years now. 4 down and 1 more to meet.

Kristin, who lives in Alabama, was coming to a conference in Philly this weekend and knew that Christie and I lived in PA but didn't know how close. We made it a point to go to Philly and meet her. I am so glad we did, she is such a nice lady. So in addition to Kristin and Christie, Jessica flew in from Ohio to have a nice girls night out.

We had dinner Saturday evening, and had drinks in the hotel lobby afterward. I've met up several times with Christie and a couple times with Jessica with family in tow, but this night was different, we were without our hubby's and kids so it was a real treat for all of us.

Thank you girls for a memorable evening. One of these times, I hope for all of the pub gang to get together.

Teddy Bear Clinic

Today Connor was encouraged to take his teddy bear to school with him. He was somewhat hesitant to do this but when he got home from school, I could see that he had a great day with it.

The Teddy Bear Clinic was sponsored by the Clarion Hospital which has been organized to ease children's anxieties about going to the hospital. They watched a video about going to the hospital, they saw a puppet show about safety, they made get well cards for the patients of Clarion Hospital and then they had their actual "Teddy Bear Clinic". At the clinic the nurses helped with listening to the bears heartbeat, took their blood pressure, weight and height. Connor's teddy bear came home with band aids and it must have had some blood drawn. He said he has a lot of fun with this and he even brought home a tee shirt from the event!

Maleah and Teddy Bear

Of course, how could I forget to add this little girl. She wanted her picture taken with the teddy bear too, so I better post this picture too. Isn't her smile so cute?

Playing School

I sat and watched Maleah "play school" for a few minutes before I realized that I needed to take pictures and blog some favorite moments. She was so cute looking through Connor's math booklets. She is excited to start school and ride the school bus, she tells me.

Connor's sick

Connor was sick with a stomach virus this weekend. It started Friday evening after dinner and made his miserable until 1:00am where he finally fell asleep. He was suppose to go to a classmates (Hayden's) birthday party at the bowling alley on Saturday but we had to cancel out of that. For the first time in two years, Connor willingly laid down and took a 2 hour nap Saturday afternoon. He was in much need of one. Today he is feeling a whole lot better and I'm happy to see it gone.
